Masterplan for SIIDCUL Haridwar
REIMAGINING AN INDUSTRIAL CAMPUS AT SIIDCUL, HARIDWAR THROUGH EFFICIENT CIRCULATION, SAFER STREETS, IMPROVED INFRASTRUCTURE, AND INTEGRATED PUBLIC AMENITIES.
The masterplan envisions SIIDCUL Haridwar as a more connected, accessible and organised industrial campus. Through strategic improvements to circulation, infrastructure and public spaces, the proposal brings efficiency and a human scale to the industrial landscape. Beginning with the primary road network, the interventions focus on improving everyday movement and strengthening connections across the campus.
SMALL STOPS ALONG THE WAY
A network of shared facility blocks introduces essential amenities, seating and organised parking at strategic locations, creating convenient spaces for workers, drivers and visitors.
RETHINKING THE RIGHT OF WAY
Redesigned road sections integrate defined carriageways, continuous footpaths and landscaped medians, balancing industrial traffic movement with pedestrian accessibility.Key intersections are redesigned with improved turning radii, safer pedestrian crossings, refuge islands and designated public transport zones to streamline circulation and reduce conflicts.
GEOMETRY CORRECTION, BEFORE AND AFTER
Drag to compare the existing and proposed geometry at the key chowks: defined 15 m turning radii for heavy vehicles, safe crossings and refuge islands, and public transport and IPT zones placed 40 m from each junction.

FACILITY BLOCK
Compact facility blocks bring together canteens, convenience stores, washrooms, sheltered seating and organised parking, introducing functional and comfortable spaces within the industrial campus.
PUBLIC REALM AND ARRIVAL
Landscaped streets, continuous pedestrian pathways, organised transport stops and coordinated street elements create a safer, greener and more cohesive public realm. A distinctive entrance gateway, redesigned roundabouts and clearly defined access points establish a recognisable identity and an improved arrival experience for SIIDCUL Haridwar.
