Phulkari
An Eat Punjab restaurant that translates the geometry of Phulkari embroidery into patterned walls, curved green booths and layered fabric lighting.
Punjab's Textile Heritage
Phulkari is the fifth outlet of Eat Punjab. Inspired by the traditional embroidery of Punjab, it turns repetitive geometric patterns into architectural surfaces. A richly patterned wall in terracotta, muted greens and warm ochres forms the backdrop.
Curved Green Booths
Curved and semi-circular booths create intimate pockets within the dining hall. Upholstered in deep green and framed by patterned terracotta-toned surfaces, they offer warmth and privacy while keeping the lively spirit of Punjabi dining.
Layered Lighting
Large cylindrical fabric pendants, sculptural floor lamps and small spherical lights create a composition at different scales. Woven textures and diffused light soften the patterned surfaces, while arched partitions add depth.
Craft And Material
Patterned textiles, dark wood, warm metal and tactile upholstery balance traditional references with a contemporary sensibility. Colour, pattern and craftsmanship are translated rather than literally depicted.
